EVENT FULL – A History of Bellevue & The Eastside

April 8 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Step back in time and discover the fascinating story of Bellevue during an engaging upcoming presentation at The Gardens at Town Square brought to us by the Eastside Heritage Center. From its early days as a quiet farming community, to the pivotal moment when the Lacey V. Morrow Floating Bridge opened in 1940 and connected Bellevue to Seattle, this talk traces the forces that shaped the city we know today. You’ll hear how post–World War II growth, suburban dreams, and the opening of Bellevue Square transformed the area into an incorporated city by 1953, and how those roots paved the way for Bellevue’s evolution into today’s vibrant, innovative tech hub. Join us for a warm, nostalgic, and insightful look at a community whose past is as rich as its future. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for your convenience.

Thank you for your interest in attending this event. It is now full, so we are not able to accept any additional RSVPs.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please call the community at (425) 688-1900, and ask to speak to the Community Relations Department.  Thank you for your understanding. We hope to see you at a future event!
